On Tuesday, August 11, 2009, Eve, Bob, Sony Almedia, MaryEllen and I all
went down to where the future home of the dog park will be. MaryEllen was
smart enough to bring a camera and took these pictures. The site has
changed locations from the upper left of this field to the lower left. Dimensions
have also changed from 175'x135' to 260'x75'. This change will mean that
now we have to have fencing on 4 sides rather than 3.
It's a nice flat area that I believe the dogs will love. We have a long way to go,
but I'm getting quotes in and these will be discussed at our next meeting. The
meeting will be held on August 17th from 6:30 - 8:30 at the library in the
Balfour room. If you would like to become a member of the Dog Park
Committee, just show up and help us with fundraiser ideas, rules, etc. It's a
great bunch of people who want to see this through. You can always contact
